5. Pace starts of slow till 45 seconds,but as the setting changes to the haunted house pace is built up and more horror is shown. The shots start off long but then decrease in length. The slow pace makes us listen to what he is saying. Pace slows down causing us to calm but then we are scared.

The narrative:
- fight between good and evil
- rivalry between hero and villain
- binary opposites
    - good vs. evil
    - conflict - we are introduced to the hero and villain

  - have to have a certain type of character in a narrative
     - e.g. hero/ villain - only main events are shown but not in detail so that the plot is not given. Done through images. sound, dialogue, titles and music.

3. the clips are not in a chronological order as to how they are presented in the film. The clips only show small parts of a scene. this makes the film less predictable. Most clips were from the middle to end of the film as the most action occurs then so is more able to keep people attention.
